As LSI is a business committed to the protection and preservation of the environment, we established a goal under the USEPA Climate Leaders Program to achieve a 15% absolute reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from the 2007 baseline year from U.S. LSI operations by year end 2012. Through implementation of energy conservation projects at facilities under LSI’s operational control, we have reduced our GHG emissions in the United States by 26% as of calendar year end 2011. LSI has encouraged our contract manufacturing partners to join us by establishing a formal program to identify, monitor, reduce, and report GHG emissions from your operations.

Note: In accordance with GHG accounting methodologies, LSI adjusted its 2007 baseline and subsequent year GHG emissions downward to reflect the sale of LSI Engenio Storage Group systems business facilities that were sold to NetApp in 2011.
