LSI believes that all companies should be good corporate citizens and act in a socially responsible manner. Furthermore, LSI expects its suppliers to meet the highest standards for EH&S performance and social responsibility. Consequently, LSI has established
Supplier Environmental, Health & Safety and Social Responsibility Requirements for our supply chain. Among other things, these requirements demand that suppliers who manufacture or process LSI products acknowledge and implement the
EICC Code of Conduct which includes driving continual improvement in environmental, health and safety (EH&S) performance as required by ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management system principles.
To validate the supplier’s performance, LSI has developed a comprehensive web based questionnaire to measure five key areas of concern to LSI: (1) Management Systems (2) Environment (3) Product Compliance (4) Occupational Health and Safety and (5) Labor and Ethics.
