Free Trial Nytro Predictor software collects storage access traces on a production server using industry proven tools. The software takes a capture over time of storage access patterns and stores this information in a trace file. Nytro Predictor software then uses the trace files to generate valuable reports that estimate whether a workload may benefit from smart caching and show the potential application acceleration. Features - Easy to use and intuitive software collects I/O storage activity on production servers over several hours

Using flash to acceleration applications is a no-brainer; its low latency provides almost immediate responses for users. But the challenge is selecting what implementation and what vendor. Replacing hard drives with SSDs to accelerate applications is possible, but not very economical for all your storage needs. Typically, applications will access only a small portion of storage frequently. Situating these “hot spots” on low latency flash can provide significant performance gains, but what caching software will locate these hot spots?
