Syncro MX-B 6480 Rack Boot Appliance

The Syncro MX-B 6480 Rack Boot Appliance is the first system of its kind that serves as a standalone, pre-configured, 1U form factor rack boot system for up to 48 servers, designed to significantly increase reliability while reducing overall system costs and maintenance for the large cloud and mega datacenter environments. The MX-B 6480 appliance stores the boot images for each of the 48 servers on an enterprise SATA RAID volume made up of hot swappable hard drives. Additional RAS is achieved through the use of redundant fans and power supplies within the enclosure, which can result in dramatically lower server failure rates when compared to traditional SATA boot methods.
