LSI has decades of successful experience as a virtual integrated design manufacturer. In order to ensure the highest product quality and reliability levels, we maintain our own production engineering and fault analysis teams worldwide.
Our automated design for test methodology provides for 100 percent testing of gates, memory, I/O and CoreWare IP. Our production test methodology also includes statistical post processing (SPP) on test results to perform additional screening. Typical SPP includes nearest neighbor analysis and edge die tracking. Together with electrical tests, SPP can dramatically reduce defect parts per million (DPPM) from 600-1000 to about 50-100.
We use a variety of in-house and sub-contractors for test and packaging to manage peaks and troughs in demand and ensure integrity of supply. All our major sub-contractors employ local LSI engineers to actively drive up product quality and keep volume and timescales predictable.

Our automated supply chain manages your volume needs and delivery schedules for high efficiency. We can actively manage your buffer stock for you and position it anywhere on the globe to suit your manufacturing requirements with our “built to forecast” and dynamic replenishment programs. In addition, our e-commerce capability enables you to accurately track your order status from initial entry to final delivery.
This commitment to production quality, combined with our global supply chain management, allows us to tailor delivery schedules to match your needs. |
