1932 Storage System

1932 Storage System

The Engenio 1932 storage system brings together 4Gb/s FC host connectivity, SAS drive-side technology and intuitive storage management software to create a robust solution that’s equally adept in an entry-level SAN at the SMB or integrating into an existing storage network within the enterprise.

With four auto-negotiating 4Gb/s FC host ports per system, the 1932 supports direct attachment of multiple hosts or connectivity to a storage area network. This makes it a great system for environments that want to initially deploy the 1932 as a DAS system, and then seamlessly transition to a SAN when ready. Additionally, the 1932 is a great fit for existing SANs as it can easily integrate into 1, 2 and 4Gb/s infrastructures and provide robust and reliable storage at an affordable price.

Simplicity® Storage Manager software ensures a friendly and simple user experience from set-up to general administration. Targeted for the part-time administrator, this intuitive, task-based management interface significantly reduces the complexity of installation, configuration, management and diagnostic tasks.
