Support for enclosure-level intermixing of high-performance FC and SSD drives with high-capacity SATA drives enables space-efficient tiered storage. And the new 4U, 60-drive DE6900 enclosure significantly reduces operational costs for capacity-intensive applications.

Initially purchased 8 Gb/s FC, 4 Gb/s FC and
1 Gb/s iSCSI host cards can be swapped out and intermixed as desired to support today’s and tomorrow’s environments.

SANtricity Storage Manager Software
SANtricity® Storage Manager software provides a powerful, yet easy to use, GUI for administering the 7900 storage system. With SANtricity software, storage administrators are able to achieve maximum utilization of the purchased capacity through extensive configuration flexibility, custom performance tuning and a variety of replication options. SANtricity software allows continuous access to user data during administrative tasks, including configuration, reconfiguration, expansion and maintenance of the system.
SANtricity software offers fully-integrated replication features which extend its unparalleled functionality and create even more powerful storage. With multiple replication offerings (volume snapshot, volume copy and remote volume mirror), you can choose the method that best meets your data utilization and protection requirements.
