Host Bus Adapters
LSI delivers SATA+SAS, SCSI and Fibre Channel HBA solutions that work with a variety of systems, from Ultra320 to 6Gb/s. LSI now offers 6Gb/s SATA+SAS HBAs that double the transfer rate of previous generation SATA+SAS HBAs. The 6Gb/s HBAs also work with 3Gb/s SATA and SAS systems and deliver more performance and capacity for existing systems. By selecting a 6Gb/s HBA solution, you can also obtain higher ROI on your storage solutions for both today’s and tomorrow’s 6Gb/s systems.
HBAs are available in either PCI-X or PCI Express host interfaces, and available in four- and eight-port options with a wide variety of internal and external connector configurations. The 4Gb/s Fibre Channel HBAs are available in single, dual and quad channel configurations and are also designed to be backward compatible with previous generations.
