SCSI ICs

SCSI encompasses a wide variety of speeds and specifications. LSI offers controllers for every SCSI variation, from Fast SCSI to the latest Ultra320 and Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) systems.

LSI SCSI bus expanders allow you to extend SCSI while remaining compliant with the standard. With these expanders you can manage bus loads across all SCSI buses while maintaining the integrity of legacy firmware and software. You get all the advantages of LVD (low voltage differential) signaling and logical disk clustering without reinventing your products. Among the advantages of LVD are: noise rejection; longer cable lengths; lower voltage and lower current requirements resulting in lower heat dissipation.
